I’m blessed once again with a beautiful boy. Thanks to all of you for your support (and for being understanding about deadlines during this time:) It’s been well worth it, and he’s so handsome! He’ll be painting Hotrods by the time he’s 4 I guarantee.
Just finished some spot illustrations for a client, i think they turned out nicely. i love this style (obviously) simple and graphic. For some reason my favorite is the T-Bone steak.

We’ve had a very productive month, will be rolling out a whole line of Military styled goods and apparel for production at the end of the month, and the site will be online and ready to roll by the end of June I HOPE!
All that’s up right now is a boring splash page, but trust me SONS OF LIBERTY is going to be a lot of fun. Comfortable apparel, and of course fun design. So check back for some updates in the coming weeks.
I’m in the process of completing the Flavors of Phoenix 2008 Event poster and invitation. Here’s the poster. Taking me forever to sit down and just get it done, so of course i’m working last minute. This one goes out to Little Finn.
I wanted to work with a DECO style for the poster and invite. Focus on the color and a more painterly subdued palette. I tried to work colors into the whites, and not go full black on the heavy dark areas to soften the image a bit.

Hey all,
We are moving our office next week. Therefore we will be shut down March 7-17th. When it’s up and running we’ll have a few new additions to the shop. The design and Illustration studio will have more room to spread out, and we’re adding the letterpress printshop as well. The painting studio will also reopen after 4 long years.
Feel free to contact us regarding any new projects during this time. The office will be closed, but we’re still open for business.

alright, i think i’m feeling better now. Back to work.
One more thing….i’ve never been sure whether it’s better to post commercial work, or my own work. Do clients respond to corporate design and say “oh yes, this guys got what we need” or do they want to see work that’s “out there” and respond to the style and impact of work you’re producing as a creative shop. I have a tendancy to put work up there that i dig, and not to worry about being all things to all people. INPUT PLEASE!
